Version 0.7.1 is here

Hi all,

Here comes the new version. But be warned, this is A REAL BETA VERSION!!!! Please do not update your current productive installation.

What is new:

Code: Select all

- 4 new genres added
  - Adventure - Visual Novel
  - Adventure - Tactical RPG
  - Adventure - Survival
  - Shoot'em Up - Survival
- name search field for standard (detail) game view
- toolbar button to filter only favourite games
- key/value support
  - platform settings as defaults for each game
  - individual settings for each game (overwrite platform settings)
I also updated the script system. So the ECC1 scripts are not comatible anymore... But I use the same behaviour. ECC2 writes a dat-file and the script system reads this in. The variable names are clearer as in ECC1 (I think and hope). Now I need a platform that needs a script, some example games and some testing time... maybe I'll try VIC20 :yes_head:

What comes next:

- Assimilate new ECC1 platforms, images, ...
- Add EmuMovies support (Yes, I will do this, in option you can already store your account data... I gor information how to integrate this... stay tuned)
- Name based platform(I have an idea how to support this ehen you only have different names for zipped files, ScummVM for eample or other CD-based platforms where you habe multiple tracks inside a iso image)

You have now FULL Moderator permissions on your forum, please do not delete everything (for preserving etc), just put a lock on it if nessesary :sorcerer:

Hi Micha,
can you show us some examples, how to use the key/value feature in ecc2 ?
or do you still testing it ?
