Update Version 0.6.2

Unread post by DerMicha75 » 13 Mar 2012, 20:05

Hi,

before I start implementing multi rom support I will give you the current version. This time only as an update. You will need 0.6.1 full and copy these contens over the existing ones.

Whats new (not too much tis time)

Code: Select all

fixed:

- Meta information: Filename shows now last characters complete since there are the differences between similar roms
- (hopefully) fixed a memory problem when leaving a platform with lots of games (over 5000)
- "open rom folder" wasn't working when path contains spaces

added:

- Extras support
  - Extras Edit widget
  - Edit name function for extras also available in edit widget
  - double click in extras edit now opens the extra (as double click in list view does)
  - Import extras function (in platform list, restructured context menu)
  - new combined image and extras editing view
- new image list widget
- new standard view, now with the new imagelist and extras widgets
Have Fun... and here is the link: http://www.michas-modellbahn.de/_static ... _0.6.2.zip

Thanks Micha ;)

EDIT :

Question :
I've changed the interface.ini - standard , to have larger pictures......
comp.4=gameImagesList, w 400!, grow, span 1 3, wrap

well....the column has now wide of 400, but the pictures are still very small...

any idea why ?

Sure... because of this line of code:

Code: Select all

ImageIcon icon = ImageHelper.getGameIcon(game, 200, 200, ((GameImage) value).getType(), true);
This will create an image with maximum 200 pixels in size :sorcerer:

At the moment I have the problem that the list will fail on first platform when I not specify the image size. An option like "get it with current width minus 20 pixels" will only work an 2nd game or 2nd platform. I will research this.

Thanks for the info !

just another question.....
I've added an x-tra Platform for ebooks in my eCC2.......

Is it possible to get the metainfos for the files automaticly ? (like TOSEC, NoIntro-files etc...)

My ebook-files are named this way :
Titel (Autor)(Verleger)(Veröffentlicht)[Buchreihe Nr.xx]
= in ecc2
Gamename (Developer)(Puplisher)(Year)[info]

can you add this to the "parsing-script"

Hmmmm. No. The parser is generic and can not decide what to do with so many brackets.

But for all of you out there with eBooks: Use Calibre. It works perfect, it's fast and has many options to extend it with scripts (e.g. for automatic creating metadata), the built in reader is fast, ...

For Comic ebooks I use ComicRack....

Micha

PS: Resizable image list now works (will come in next version)
