Feature Request for eCC2

I want to show you what I'm doing some evenings in my spare time.
At first I want to say that this is ONLY A PRIVATE HOBBY PROJECT, I don't want to "kill" eCC, But eventually wake up Andreas a bit ;-)

Hi Micha Also i found some problems here,

Imported a ZIP file....

1. The ROM does not get extracted to anywhere.... ??
2. In eccScriptRom.dat of ECC2, it spits out wrong extension (ZIP) for unpacked file, in this case it should be PRG
example: ecc_unpacked_file = "Quikman 2008 (2008)(Hurst, Robert).zip" ?? :online2long:

Why did you put the "quikman.prg" into the script-folder ? :oops:

I'm a little confused with the "eccScriptSystem.au3"

Global $eccFileRomFilePacked = IniRead("..\eccScriptRom.dat", "FILE", "rom_file_packed", "")

So when Packed , i think it should look to extension *.zip and not to *.prg :-k

eCC1 :

Code: Select all

[FILE]
rom_crc32 = "1E411FE3"
rom_file = "QUIKMA~1.ZIP"
rom_path = "P:\COMMOD~1\Games\_PRG_~1\"
rom_file_packed = "Quikman (1984)(Hurst, Robert).prg"
rom_name_plain = "Quikman (1984)(Hurst, Robert)"
rom_extension = "prg"
rom_file_extension = "zip"
rom_filesize = "3585"
ecc_unpacked_file = "Quikman (1984)(Hurst, Robert).prg"
ecc_unpacked_path = "E:\eCC\ecc-user\#_AUTO_UNPACKED\vic20\"
eCC2 :

Code: Select all

[FILE]
info_id = "1E411FE3"
rom_file = "Quikman (1984)(Hurst, Robert).prg"
rom_path = "P:\Commodore VIC20 (TOSEC-v2011-12-29)\Games\[PRG]\"
rom_file_packed = "Quikman (1984)(Hurst, Robert).zip"
rom_name_plain = "Quikman (1984)(Hurst, Robert)"
rom_extension = "zip"
rom_file_extension = "prg"
rom_filesize = "3585"
ecc_unpacked_file = "Quikman (1984)(Hurst, Robert).zip"
ecc_unpacked_path = "E:\eCC2 v0.6.1 Beta\unpacked\vic20\"
also :
wrong entry in eCC2 : info_id = "1E411FE3" should be rom_crc32 = "1E411FE3"

No...PRG is correct, is the parsed file INSIDE the ZIP archive (when unpacked)! :sorcerer:

$rom_file = PRG or ZIP (depends wich type of file is parsed into ECC)

to clarify it a bit:
extracting $rom_file (ZIP) gives $eccFileRomFilePacked (ROM)

Hi, I will look at this, but not the next 2-3 days... I'm away. The Script support is not final in ECC2...

Hi Micha,

it would be nice, if you can change the screenshots for the "window" gameImagesIngame4

actually it shows : Title, ingame 1, ingame 2, loading-screen
better is : Title, ingame 1, ingame 2, ingame 3

because there are very few games with loading-screenshots in imagepacks (at last in my...) , but many ingame3 pictures :D

another solution : The eCC2 User can choose himself, wich pictures are shown :loveit:

what do you think ?

Hi,

this is one of the many things on my todo list... configurable images for 4- and 6- images views.

In the meantime I'm working on completing my own collection, configuring each platform, collect images and extras, ... For this (and for next version too) I created a new standard view. This will cointain a new widget that shows all images. See screenshot:
