Report 018 - ECC 0.5.86 Beta - Displaying 'green' dir's

Unread post by Phoenix » 30 Aug 2006, 19:20

When i selected the SMD emulator (SEGA Genesis/Megadrive) all DIR's went to GREEN :?
I suppose the '32X' and the 'MD' should stay RED ? (when no emulator found)

This function only checks, if the dir is valid.
The problem are executeables with parameters attached. I cant validate them :-(
So i only validate directories :-) See also help-file.
Maybe i can create a better function to validate this....

I have added an extra field some times ago to add options, but i dont really think this is a good idea.
Copy and paste is much harder and you can add errors by forgotten parameters. But this seems to be the only way to get a working validation of the emulator path. :-)
What do you think.

Ah well, if ECC validates (only) the folder it's ok, leave it as it is... for the moment ;)
I'm closing this section now.
