Here are some new Infos, I've got from the Guy's at the Enterprise-Forever Forum :

Generally:
The operating system of the Enterprise (EXOS) is not need fileextensions, because it is handle the files by the fileheader.

But, of course, we need the extensions, to use the Games in ECC !

The extensions meaning this :
*.trn = Trainer
*.snap , *.ep32 , *.ep128s = Snapshotfiles (savegames from the Emus)
*.com , *.bas = (File-Loader)
*.Img = Image-Disk (open this one with the Virtual-Disk-Drive) [emu ep128 has 4 Virtual-Disk-Drives, for emu EP32 you need the tool "VFD"]
*. tap , *.wave = Tapefiles
*.dtf = this is a compressed "Game-file" , you need an extra utility to start it. Or you can decompress this file and load it normaly.

@ ECC and Phoenix :

You can delete this Fileextensions, because they are never the "Game-loader-File" :

*.prg :yes_head:
*.bin
*.128 (never seen such a extension)

you can see the whole Information here. (I asked @Enterprise-Forum)

So, I've collect some Info's for the Enterprise 64/128 (btw. a Great 8bit-Computer)
Your Job is to write a script, so it works in ECC

Maybe *.ips Patch files for all emulators that support that?
ANY of my programs has at least one error.
When I try to fix this error, I'm building at least two new ones in! ´o_o`

For DOS -

*.EXE
*.BAT

If those could be added it would be much appreciated. Most dos games install with a BAT file to make them run. I know a few sites with huge collections of DOS Games that also use BAT to load the extremely customised settings needed for most DOS Games in DOSBOX. :yes_head:

One other thing. A proper Saturn dump is BIN+CUE. Daemon tools will not mount BIN, but this is what ECC searches for and will not add CUE. This presents a problem.

EDIT: Let me clarify here. As a zipped BIN+CUE, the ecc extractor only extracts the BIN, then with the 'use cue' option it attempts to load a cue with the same name, that was not extracted, making deamon tools fail.

Thanks!

I have found a temporary fix. For all the games you have zipped, copy the cue into the temporary folder of that system but leave the rest of the files zipped.

I'm going to write a small batch file to clear all temporary folders of their speciffic rom extensions but leave cue files in the folders. =) When i'm finished i shall upload here.

Nintendo Wii file extensions.

Unread post by Blackerking » 11 Feb 2010, 00:33

Hey there. Wii virtual console and Wii ware games are saved mostly as wad files.
Wii Homebrewfiles as dol or elf.
The most homebrewfiles have an info file too. Maybe you can get some infos from there. (Maybe a selfwriten tool could do this)

WiiVC and Wiiware:
http://wehackwii.pbworks.com/

Homebrewfiles:
http://wiibrew.org

If you got questions I can help.
Nothing that looks like a signature.

NoIntro added two new platforms. "Casio - PV-1000" and "Epoch - Super Cassette Vision". Both are in ECC, but noIntro uses .bin extensions for both. I have both romsets and want to add :-)
