See Game-Videos on ECC-DB !

Unread post by Vicman » 11 Mar 2009, 21:37

Hi all,

I've made a short Video-Clip from the Game "Paratroopers" (by using Emu WinVice)
Now I've made an account on you tube to post the Video to the ECC-DB :swing:

http://www.camya.com/gamedb/platform/co ... dedComment

The Goal is to make small Video-Clips for all Vic 20 Games for the Rom-DB :music:

P.S.
It would be Cool, to have a Feature in ECC.....something like "show video-clip from Rom-DB" or "show Rom-DB entry".
When "ticking" on that Feature, Ecc should direct link to the WorldWideWeb, to watch the Game-Entry (Video etc.) :detective:

And I can't still adding anything to the GameDB. Always the same Error :

I use this TAG's : Vic 20 Commodore Games ECC Emu Control Center Old Computers VC 20 Spiele....
Don't know, if i have to make a "," between the words
And should I write "emuControlCenter" instead "Emu Control Center" ? - or do I use both !?

The Imagepack is growing, but not finished yet ;) (new datfile also still in work)
But it looks good, that i'll finish both this month.... :sweatdrop:

Video looks good but I think you can not do this for every game....

Micha

PS: Looks like Falcon Patrol on C64, I loved this game...

Yes, think so, too....Video-Clip's are cool for Action & Arcade Games, but not ,for example, Text-Adventures :?
or Chess-Games

And "Skyhawk" was my Favorite Game on my VC 20.....and then I bought me a C64 and I played tons of hour's on Falcon Patrol :1st:

I've just uploaded my newest Game-Video on You Tube.
Vicman plays Jetpac (also some promotion for ECC integrated) ;)

btw. I've had Problems to compress the Audio in this Clip. So the Video-Size is 160 MB.
That means : slow loading on you tube  maybe i can fix it.......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVvef2s6F2Y[/youtube]

Also add to the GameDB

@Andreas : maybe you can edit my comment on the GameDB...I've wrote "Viedeo-Clip"....that looks so ugly

WOW, very cool and nicely done Vicman :thumb: m wich program did you use to create/assemble the video?

p.s. Youtube automaticly converts the whole video (incl audio) to an Flash Video file (flv) so the flv filesize would be ca. 4 MB ;-)

1. Magix Video Deluxe 2008 (Video)
2. Magix Musik Maker 6 (Audio)
3. WinVice-Emulator (Game-Video)
4. ScreenCapturer (http://www.screencapturer.com/) (for recording ECC-Screen)

btw. the flv.-File has 14,5 MB ;)
